Six Thirty Recordings presents: Turnover Live In Jakarta
Supported by Hearingeye Records & MATERNAL DISASTER
Turnover are an indie rock band from Virginia Beach, VA that was formed in 2009.
They started out playing pop punk and released a demo in 2009, followed by a self-titled EP in 2011.
‘Peripheral Vision’ was released in May 2015 on Run for Cover Records.
The album marked a shift similar to Magnolia two years earlier, except opting for a more dream pop and indie sound.

Boys and girls

Hi there! If you’re new around these parts, welcome. I’m Jonathan Mann. I write a song every single day, and I’ve been doing that for the last 7+ years.
Through sick days, tired days, days with no inspiration, the death of my grandma, the breakup of a 5 year long relationship, the marriage to my wife and the birth of our son – I’ve never missed a day. This is my life’s work.
You can see my most current song, as well as songs from year’s past over at http://songaday.org

This is a multi-camera shoot I conducted in 2012 of Xi’an, Shaanxi province-based ska punk band SUCKER, recorded live on day one of the 3rd WUHAN PRISON PUNK FESTIVAL held at VOX livehouse in Wuhan, Hubei province, China (PRC).
SUCKER are: Frank: Guitar/Vocals, Zhang Hui: bass/Vocals, Xiao Yue: Lead Guitar/Vocals, and Xian Jun: drums.
2.) Boring Song
7.) Rude Soul
10.) You Are Not Alone
11.) Rock and Roll
SUCKER are good guys and keep the punk rock torch lit. It was a tremendous pleasure working with them. All of their hard work is starting to pay off. Steve, from BIG D. & THE KIDS TABLE produced their new album (he previous worked with Beijing’s BRAIN FAILURE a few years ago). “Rude Soul” may have secured distribution in America through Fork In Hand Records, which I believe is the record label started by BIG D & THE KIDS TABLE (Boston). I’m happy to see mi amigos break through. Maybe they can finally tour the States, which is something that have always aspired to do. If you get a chance to see them in China, tell them the Shanzhai Laowai recommended you.
