Green Day – Wake Me Up When September Ends (Inglés – Español) HD 720p HQ

GREEN DAY – WAKE ME UP WHEN SEPTEMBER ENDS

Levantame cuando finalice Septiembre

El verano ha llegado y pasó
La inocencia puede nunca perderse
Despiértame cuando septiembre termine

Como mi padre vino y se fue
Siete años se han ido tan rapido
Despiértame cuando septiembre termine

Aquí viene la lluvia nuevamente
Cayendo desde las estrellas
Empapado en mi pena nuevamente
Volviéndonos quienes somos

Mientras los restos de mi memoria
Pero nunca olvidare lo que perdí
Despiértame cuando septiembre termine

El verano ha llegado y pasó
La inocencia puede nunca perderse
Despiértame cuando septiembre termine

Suenan fuera las campanas nuevamente
Como estabamos nosotros cuando la primavera comenzó
Despiértame cuando septiembre termine

Aquí viene la lluvia nuevamente
Cayendo desde las estrellas
Empapado en mi pena nuevamente
Volviéndonos quienes somos

Mientras los restos de mi memoria
Pero nunca olvidare lo que perdí
Despiértame cuando septiembre termine
El verano ha llegado y pasó
La inocencia puede nunca perderse
Despiértame cuando septiembre termine

Como mi padre vino y se fue
Veinte años se han ido tan rapido
Despiértame cuando septiembre termine
Despiértame cuando septiembre termine
Despiértame cuando septiembre termine

Review:
99 Revolutions opens the show, the song from which the title of their current world tour takes its name. For their second song, Know Your Enemy, their baby-faced Billie Joe Armstrong pulls a young fan from the crowd for some toe-curling awkwardness as he attempts a sing-along.

Reading Festival 2013: Green Day bring the unexpected
Billie Joe Armstrong gives one fan a night he’ll never forget. (Picture: PA Wire)
‘The greatest festival in the world.’ Declares Armstrong, the king of the schmooze. As the night goes on this turns out to be one of the sanest sentences to leave his lips, specially when he promises to ‘clear away all of the murder, all of the corporations, all of the corruption’.

The set was Green Day’s first billed appearance at Reading Festival since they last headlined in 2004, less than a month before they released their comeback album American Idiot. Holiday and Boulevard Of Broken Dreams from that album, back to back, elicit some of the greatest reactions from the huge Main Stage crowd during their two and a quarter hour long set.

Reading Festival 2013: Green Day bring the unexpected
Welcome to Billie Joe Armstrong Paradise.
After Wake Me Up When September Ends comes the great surprise of the night. To mark the fast approaching 20 year anniversary of Dookie, coming February 2014, they lower a stage backdrop with the eponymous album cover and proceed to play it in its entirety.

From Burnout to F.O.D., via When I Come Around and Basket Case, the near hour-long section certainly divides new and old fans but united they come out the otherside, better off for staying with it.

Other highlights include a cover of AC/DC’s Highway To Hell, a pink bunny and a toilet roll cannon. You certainly can’t accuse Green Day of acting their age, given the trio have now all reached the big 40 milestone.
Lyrics:
Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go
So make the best of this test, and don’t ask why
It’s not a question, but a lesson learned in time

It’s something unpredictable, but in the end is right,
I hope you had the time of your life.

So take the photographs, and still frames in your mind
Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial
For what it’s worth it was worth all the while

It’s something unpredictable, but in the end is right,
I hope you had the time of your life.

It’s something unpredictable, but in the end is right,
I hope you had the time of your life.

It’s something unpredictable, but in the end is right,
I hope you had the time of your life.

Green Day Hyde Park Audience sing Queen Bohemian Rhapsody

Green Day Hyde Park Audience sing Queen Bohemian Rhapsody

“Bohemian Rhapsody” is a song by the British rock band Queen. It was written by Freddie Mercury for the band’s 1975 album A Night at the Opera. It is a six-minute suite,[1] consisting of several sections without a chorus: an intro, a ballad segment, an operatic passage, a hard rock part and a reflective coda.[2] The song is a more accessible take on the 1970s progressive rock genre.[3] It was reportedly the most expensive single ever made at the time of its release, though the exact cost of production cannot be determined.[4]

When it was released as a single, “Bohemian Rhapsody” became a commercial success, staying at the top of the UK Singles Chart for nine weeks and selling more than a million copies by the end of January 1976.[5] It reached number one again in 1991 for another five weeks when the same version was re-released,[6] eventually becoming the UK’s third-best-selling single of all time.[7] It is also the only song to be Christmas number one twice by the same artist.[8] It topped the charts in several other markets as well, including Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and The Netherlands, later becoming one of the best-selling singles of all time. In the United States the song originally peaked at number nine in 1976. It returned to the chart at number two in 1992 following Freddie Mercury’s death in 1991, as well as its appearance in the film Wayne’s World, which revived its American popularity.

Although critical reaction was initially mixed, “Bohemian Rhapsody” remains one of Queen’s most popular songs and is frequently placed on modern lists of the greatest songs of all time. The single was accompanied by a promotional video, which many scholars consider ground-breaking.[9] Rolling Stone magazine states: “Its influence cannot be overstated, practically inventing the music video seven years before MTV went on the air.”[10] In 2004, “Bohemian Rhapsody” was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.[11] In 2012, the song topped the list on an ITV nationwide poll in the UK to find “The Nation’s Favourite Number One” over 60 years of music.[12]
