This morning on the New Zealand iTunes Store, Green Day’s song “Revolution Radio” was released and is now available for purchase and download.

The song clocks in at 3 minutes in length and is very guitar driven. We have added the lyrics to the song to our music section here. Check out a short preview of the song below:

Billie Joe has described the song as:

“I was just watching this controlled chaos, and it was going and happening all over the country. I was feeling that people don’t want to feel obsolete in the things that we care about. That’s sort of what the song is about.”

It looks like the release is slowly making its way around the world, starting in the eastern-most part as it is beginning to be Friday there. As your timezone gets closer to Friday, keep checking the iTunes Store or Spotify to see if the song is available for you. If you’ve pre-ordered the album on iTunes, it will notify you when the song is available for download.

For those in the US and Canada, the song should hit the iTunes Store, Spotify, and other services around midnight eastern. If you have yet to pre-order the album, you can do so on iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play.

Let us know when you’ve heard it and tell us what you think!

‘GREENDAY – touches down in Melbourne for the time of their life’ #exclusive 4/5/17

The boys from Greenday landed at Melbourne Airport this morning at 1.15am following their Wednesday night concert in Adelaide.

Greenday stepped off their Gulfstream IV private jet with entourage in tow and into their chauffeured Kia vans headed for their city hotel for shows this weekend.

The boys who made Seinfeld’s finale ‘Time of Their Life’ famous will play Rod Laver Arena this Friday & Saturday nights.

But it was one lucky Adelaide fan who walked away with their #15Minutesoffame with Greenday’s Billy Joe Armstrong handing the concert goer his guitar as a momento…

Green Day has been my favorite band for the past 7 years or so… I just HAD to put this up once I finished arranging it! 🙂 I really hope you guys like it! I originally wasn’t even going to upload this.. It was just something I was doing for me, really. But, I really loved how it turned out & I really wanted you guys to hear it! This is really kinda geared towards the true Green Day fans though. I’m sawwwy! haha, I didn’t do many (if any) hits. (There are some you might be familiar with, though..) I was going to try to do that… but, I wanted to try to write a whole new story out of bits and pieces of their songs.. & trying to incorporate hits made that kind of hard.. : Well, anyway… I hope you enjoy! & maybe if you’ve never really listened to Green Day, this will open your eyes to their wonderful-ness. 😛 hahaha. I love them.

I did this all by ear! (Learning, arranging, transposing, etc..) 😀
