Blink-182 – Southern California punk rock band was founded in 1992 by guitarist and vocalist Tom DeLong, bass guitarist and vocalist Mark Hoppus and drummer Scott Raynor in the northern suburbs of San Diego, the city of Poway, California. The Group has achieved great success in 1999 after the release of the album Enema of the State, has reached the 9 position in the hit parade Billboard 200 and became a multi-platinum. The next album – Take Off Your Pants and Jacket (2001) – was able to take first place in the rating of the US, Canada and Germany. Fifth album of the same name (2003) marked a shift in the work of the group who brought the pop-punk sound of the band, some unusual elements of this style of experimental.
Tom DeLonge left Blink-182 in 2005, sending the band into “indefinite leave.” Tom founded a separate project Angels & Airwaves, while Hoppus and Travis Mark Barker created the group 44. Members Blink-182 reunited in February 2009 and in September 2011 they released their new album Neighborhoods. In 2015, Tom DeLonge left the group again. In his place he was invited guitarist Matt Skiba Alkaline Trio.
