If you were not around in the 90s, it’s pronounced Blink One Eighty-Two, and not Blink One Eight Two.
Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker and Matt Skiba posted a message on Twitter which read: “We’ll see you at @downloadfest!” with a link back to the UK event. However, that post was then taken down and replaced with a new message with a link to the Paris event, also featuring System Of A Down, Linkin Park and Prophets Of Rage.
System Of A Down confirmed their place at the French festival, along with a string of other summer European dates.
The California punk-rockers are not the newcomers of the year because they started their career in the early 90s and have been on top of their game since 1999 when they released their third album, “Enema Of The State”. It went on to sell 15 million copies worldwide and the following album even hit number one. Known for the humor in their lyrics, the group comprising of Mark Hoppus, Matt Skiba and Travis Barker can also be serious when necessary, their worldwide success being a testament to their talent. Blink-182 will undoubtedly play a greatest hits setlist on the Main Stage for what is already one of the most anticipated concerts of the weekend.
